The world’s largest pet rabbit has been stolen from a back garden in rural Worcestershire, England. The animal, a Giant Continental Rabbit called Darius, which weighs approximately 20 pounds or just over 9 kilograms and is four feet long, is highly valued for its rarity.
Ms Annette Edwards of Stoulton, who owns the big bunny, is heartbroken and is intent on securing Darius’s return. “I can’t imagine life without him,” she told ITV through tears. “I miss collecting ‘is massive poo leavings about the flower beds every morning, I do.”
Following ancient tradition in such matters, she’s offering a reward of two English unicorns to the merkin and a thimble-full of powdered fairy wings.
“Two unicorns to a merkin is astoundingly generous,” said Merica Police Constable Alistair Boris Trooptrain. “Usually, it’s just one farthing to the scudding cloud per fortnight. I reckon she’s gone round the twist myself.”
Fingers crossed that the rabbit gets home soon.
