Years ago, I knew a woman, who as a child, asked her mother where chicken breasts came from, fearing the worst for the cute little birds. Her mother gently informed the kid that such foods are created in a giant laboratory in the midwest by scientists and no real animals are ever hurt. Now it seems, that’s coming true. Today, when the FDA declared that lab-grown meat is safe for human consumption, I immediately wondered two things.
