The move to New Bellevue House occasioned the purchase of certain quotidian household items. Last week, for example, my trusted valet, Finial Padraig Horan, assembled a collection of possible library wastepaper baskets for my review. According to his research, Scully and Scully, a posh Manhattan shop, has the mother-load, with a variety of themes, styles and scenes that comport with a gentleman of my refined sensibilities. Obviously, this is a design choice of profound import, so one doesn’t wish to act hurriedly. In the process, I have learnt a stupefying fact.
