I grasp why people become physicians. The human body is a beautiful set of complex systems, with components like the Circle of Willis and the Bundle of His. But medicine isn’t the only profession with sometimes poetic jargon. Architects, for instance, have unique terms too. My favorite of theirs is true divided lights, meaning windows which have individual panes of glass. True divided lights applies to the founding of the United States of American too. Here’s how.
