David Soares has been the Albany County, New York, District Attorney since 2004 and, up till now, an untouchable one. He was born on Cape Verde, went to Albany Law School and is having a robust career. He took nearly $23,000 of those funds and paid himself a bonus - on a yearly salary of $208,000.00. Strictly speaking, he did nothing wrong, but in public relations terms, the move may cost him his job. Here’s why.
