Osculate My Bilabials
Yesterday I had an echocardiogram in the run-up to a routine exam. It’s extraordinary to hear blood sloshing in ones heart, splashing happily about just as it’s meant to do. It reminded me of an elegant passage in the Hebrew Bible. It urges subtly of thought in the face of the stunning complexity of the human experience.
