The earliest record of flamenco, a form of folk dancing which originated in Southern Spain, is from 1774. Over the centuries, an entire culture has grown around this art form, which may have African and Romani roots. But, to its bones, it’s thoroughly Spanish. If you’ve attended a flamenco performance, you know it’s highly-charged with sexual tension, the erotic even. In that spirit, I relate exactly what happened one night in Barcelona.
