Second degree felony assault with a firearm is rarely the source of humor, but sometimes it is. Yesterday, Mr Clifton Williams, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, was charged with just such a crime. If convicted, it’ll mark his second such offense. His roommate, who’s not named, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a weekend shooting at the hands of Mr Williams, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department. The two kicked things off with a physical altercation, then threw tiles at each other, then roommate went outside where Mr Williams followed and shot him in the buttocks. When I reveal the casus belli, you’ll understand the gravity of the matter.
