A 371-year-old portrait in London’s National Gallery has art scholars in a tizzy after a mother and daughter spotted what appears to be Nike sneakers. Portrait of a Boy by 17th Century Dutch Master Ferdinand Bol depicts an eight-year-old aristocrat in the foreground holding a goblet. His footwear features the Nike swoosh - proof-positive, the pair claim, of time travel. Fiona Foskett, 57, spotted the detail during a visit to the London gallery with her daughter, Holly, 23. Fiona told The Sun, "I said to my daughter, hold on, is he wearing a pair of Nike trainers? Looking at the age, he must have got his hands on the first pair of Nike trainers ever made - or is he actually a time traveller?" But what Holly spied is even more convincing.
