The photo below is making the rounds on social media. With my expansive world travel, I can tell you instantly what each language is. The top row is English, Spanish, Japanese and Korean. The next row, from left to right, is Klingon, Italian, French and Dothraki. The next row is Nether Regions, German, Mandarin and Galactic Basic Standard from Star Wars. Lastly we have “Magyar”, “Česky” and “Polski”, meaning Tagalog, Tuvan Throat Singing and the language spoken by citizens of the North and South Poles. Foreign tongues have always been a struggle for me. Here’s why.
