Gorgeous in Gloucester
Cape Ann, where we’re on holiday, abounds in great places to eat, mostly of the seafood kind. Lobster (“LAB-stah” in the local accent) comes in every imaginable permutation and a lot of unimaginable ones too. But wait there’s more. George’s Restaurant (“JAH-giz”) in Gloucester claims to be “the best corner in town” and it serves steak and eggs with an actual thick filet mignon, a life-changing breakfast experience. But that’s not all George’s has to offer. Its big claim-to-fame isn’t even food-related.
