Technically, Jimmy Fallon, popular host of The Tonight Show, is a “Rose Bud”, meaning he attended undergrad school at the College of St Rose in Albany, NY. But a semester short of graduation, he departed for New York City and the bright lights of Show Business. In 2009, however, the college approved his application “for credit though portfolio of work assessment”, enabling him to complete his BA degree in communications, thus certifying him as a fully-fledged graduate. He was also a 2009 commencement speaker, earning him an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters, which hung on the set of “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”. Last weekend, Dr Fallon turned up at a St Rose college party called Kegs and Eggs - “I went to my old apartment, rang the doorbell. These two kids came down, go 'Hey what’s up, man? ' And they’re like, 'Can we help you? ' And I’m like, 'I used to live here.'”. And they like let him in. Still, an ominous cloud like hung over the proceedings. Here’s why.
