When, years ago, I visited my Scots ancestors in Albany’s Graceland Cemetery, I couldn’t help but notice. Parents, children and spouses were together, even in death. The headstones told differing stories. One family of seven died on the same day, for example, but they were still united, however silently. Graceland was created for soldiers from the Spanish-American War and, often, the men buried there in a circular formation around the flag pole, served with each other in the Army or Marines. This got me to thinking about social media and what it reveals.
