Leesa and I have removed ourselves to an undisclosed waterfront location for the next seven days - the Good Harbor Beach Resort, Gloucester, Mass, Room 11, which I have christened Chirrhosis-by-the-Sea. It features views of the Atlantic Ocean and the traveling public at their unbuttoned ease. I am told the sights and sounds of the surf are comforting to some, though I cannot imagine why this is. The whole thing strikes me as repetitive, but I am all about domestic tranquility. Still, there’s much to recommend Gloucester, as I now reveal.
