All That and a Packet of Crisps!

Today’s National Potato Chip Day in the USA. This is what we trained for, people. Many Saratoga Springs habitués will tell you the food item was invented here and City Hall even employs a Potato Chip Historian. I am not making that up. The snack wasn’t invented here, of course, but a lot of what we tell touristas is two or three degrees off plumb. The purpose of any tourist town is to entertain, smile winningly and take their money - not to give ‘em a TED Talk. Here’s the real, greasy story.
